OneLine — Daily Journal

Last updated: 1 August 2026

OneLine collects no personal data. There is no account, no server, and no analytics. Everything you write stays on your device.

1. Who we are

OneLine (“the app”) is developed by Ailancer. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app. If you have any question about it, write to dev@ailancer.com.

2. Data we collect

None. OneLine does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. We do not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking software of any kind.

3. Your journal entries

The lines you write, the moods you choose, and any photos you attach are stored only on your device, inside the app's private storage area. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. We cannot read them, recover them, or restore them.

Because your entries live only on your device, deleting the app permanently deletes all of them. If you want to keep a copy, use the PDF export feature (OneLine Pro) before deleting.

4. Photos

If you attach a photo to a day, iOS asks for your permission to access your photo library. The selected image is copied into the app's own storage and resized; the app never reads your library in the background, never uploads photos, and never writes back to your library. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings.

5. Face ID / Touch ID

If you turn on the app lock (OneLine Pro), authentication is performed entirely by iOS through the device's Secure Enclave. The app is told only whether the check succeeded or failed. Your biometric data never reaches the app and is never stored or transmitted by us.

6. Notifications

The daily reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device by the app itself. There is no push server involved, and no information about you leaves the device in order to deliver it. You can turn reminders off at any time inside the app or in iOS Settings.

7. Purchases

OneLine Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. All payment details are handled by Apple; we never see or store your payment information. The app asks Apple whether a valid Pro entitlement exists on your Apple ID and stores only that yes/no answer on your device. Apple's handling of your purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

8. Network access

The app connects to the internet for one purpose only: communicating with the App Store to load Pro prices and verify purchases. It makes no other network requests.

9. Children

OneLine is safe for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Because no data is collected at all, no data about children can be collected.

10. Your rights

Data protection laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export, and delete personal data held about you. Since we hold no data about you whatsoever, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, or erase. You are in full control: your data is on your device, exportable as a PDF, and removable by deleting the app.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.

12. Contact
